Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Thousand Stars website (white-leopard-152650.hostingersite.com) or purchasing tickets for the Night of a Thousand Stars Gala (the “Event”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). These Terms form a legal agreement between you and the Calgary Arab Arts and Culture Society (CAACS), a not-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting Arab arts, culture, and community equity. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or participate in the Event.

Event Details

The Night of a Thousand Stars Gala is a fundraising event supporting CAACS’s year-round programming, including the Calgary Arab Film Nights Festival, Arab Heritage Month celebrations, artist exhibitions, and community cultural initiatives. All proceeds directly fund CAACS’s mission to foster authentic storytelling and cultural bridges in Alberta.

Tickets

• • Tickets are non-transferable unless explicitly stated and may require ID verification at the door.

• • All sales are final; see Refund Policy for exceptions.

• • Pricing: General Admission: $350; VIP: $400. Group rates available upon inquiry.

• • By purchasing, you confirm you are 18+ and consent to Event photography/videography for promotional use (opt-out available via hello@caacs.ca ).

Conduct and Safety

Attendees must adhere to a code of conduct promoting respect, equity, and inclusion, in line with CAACS’s values. CAACS reserves the right to refuse entry or remove individuals for disruptive behaviour, harassment, or violation of health/safety protocols.The Event operates on Treaty 7 territory; we acknowledge the Blackfoot Confederacy, Stoney Nakoda Nations, Tsuut’ina Nation, and Métis Nation.

Intellectual Property

All Event materials, logos, and content are owned by CAACS. You may not reproduce or distribute without written permission.

Changes

CAACS may update these Terms; continued use constitutes acceptance. Contact: hello@caacs.ca

By proceeding, you affirm you have read and agree to these Terms.

Limitation of Liability

CAACS is not liable for any loss, injury, or damages arising from Event attendance or site use, except as required by law. Force majeure (e.g., weather, pandemics) may lead to postponement/rescheduling without refund (credit offered).

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Alberta and Canadian law. Disputes will be resolved in Calgary courts.
